This is an in-person workshop in my home studio in Shawnee, Kansas
SATURDAY, JUNE 10th, 2023 - 10am-12:30pm
Put a new spin on family photos with me in this fun workshop! We'll use your black and white photos and add colorful stitching - and you'll be hooked! Use a wedding photo, baby picture, pets, group portrait - any photo can be printed and stitched!
You'll send 2-3 photos before class that will be printed on fabric and added to your class kit. One will be larger - about 4x6" and the other is about 4" round. If you'd like to do 3 of the smaller size, that's fine, too. We'll send you an email after purchase to let you know how to submit your photos (scans or phone photos work great!)
Also included is everything you need - floss, needle, and instructions and embellishments - metallic thread, felt, pompoms - it's so much fun! I’ll also show you how you can finish your projects. Your kit comes with a paper copy of your photos with stitch ideas and suggestions - so you're not completely on your own! :)
I’ll teach you some basic embroidery stitches at the beginning of class and all the tips on how to make these. I'll also share my sources for all the supplies, so you can keep stitching.
You need zero experience for this class, and even if you're an experienced stitcher, this is a fun new medium to try! All you need is a pair of scissors - and your reading glasses if you need them - and join me for this new workshop!! Everything else (including fun swag!) is included in your kit.
