This is a virtual class on Zoom - you'll get a complete kit in the mail and access to the video after class!
SATURDAY, MARCH 11th - 10am-noon CST
Put a new spin on family photos with me in this fun workshop! We'll use your black and white photos and add colorful stitching - and you'll be hooked! Use a wedding photo, baby picture, pets, group portrait - any photo can be printed and stitched!
You'll send 2 photos before class that will be printed on fabric and added to your class kit - please remember to include your email address and physical address so we can ship your kit. One will be larger - about 4x6" and the other is about 4" round. If you'd like to do 3 of the smaller size, that's fine, too. Also included is everything you need - floss, needle, and instructions and embellishments - metallic thread, felt, pompoms - it's so much fun! I’ll also show you how you can finish your projects. Your kit comes with a paper copy of your photos with stitch ideas and suggestions - so you're not completely on your own! :)
I’ll teach you some basic embroidery stitches at the beginning of class and all the tips on how to make these. I'll also share my sources for all the supplies, so you can keep stitching.
You need zero experience for this class, and even if you're an experienced stitcher, this is a fun new medium to try! All you need is a pair of scissors - and your reading glasses if you need them - and join me for this new workshop!! Everything else (including fun swag!) is included in your kit.
